I had Lasik Thursday!
So far I’m very pleased with the results... at today's checkup I was reading off the 20/20 line and was able to see a couple letters on the 20/15.
I still have some haziness and slight blurriness they say will go away in time but I have it now because the cornea is still a little swollen. (A touch up is something I have available if needed within the first year or year and a half)
The Wednesday pre-op exam was more difficult than the surgery in my opinion because it took longer and they had to hold my lids open to take good pictures.
The surgery wasn't bad the longest part was all the drops and medication to get me ready I was only in the laser room 15 min's or so and most of that was getting me ready for the laser I think they were saying the laser is only on a few seconds. I felt no pain for the whole thing.
After I got home and the drops were wearing off was the worst part because I had a lot of stinging and my eyes were watering but the pain reliever kicked in quick and put me to sleep... when I woke up they never bothered me again.
Overall I'm glad I overcame my fears and had it done.
I had it done at Michelson Laser Vision at the Summit.
